While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend is adults-only so that everyone can relax and enjoy this special weekend. We appreciate you accommodating this.

Virginia Beach in May generally feels mildly cool and breezy with an average high of 72°F and a low of 62°F. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the ocean breeze.

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, weather permitting. The ceremony will be held on the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club lawn, while the reception will be held in a temperature-controlled tent.

Friday's attire is resort chic. We suggest women wear summer dresses and men wear dress shirts with khakis or other lightweight slacks; jackets are optional.

Saturday's attire is black tie optional. We ask that women wear midi dresses or floor-length gowns and men wear dark suits and ties or tuxedos. We also recommend women wear block heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn.

Our welcome party is conveniently located at the Cavalier Beach Club just steps from the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront and the Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you are staying at The Cavalier Hotel, complimentary golf cart shuttles run between the hotel and the Cavalier Beach Club. If you are staying at one of our other wedding hotels, the Cavalier Beach Club is a quick 5-minute walk away. If you choose to drive to the beach club, valet parking will be available, or there is a parking garage on property.
